4. Analytics cookies
We use Vercel Analytics to understand how visitors use our site โ which calculators are most popular, how long people spend on each page, and where they come from. Vercel Analytics is designed for privacy: it does not use cross-site tracking cookies and does not store personally identifiable information.
Analytics data is used solely to improve the Service. We do not share analytics data with third parties for advertising purposes.
5. Advertising cookies (Google AdSense)
Calculy.io uses Google AdSense to display advertisements. Google AdSense places cookies to:
- Track which ads you have seen to avoid showing the same ad repeatedly
- Serve ads relevant to your browsing interests (personalised advertising)
- Measure the performance of advertisements
- Prevent ad fraud
Google's advertising cookies may track your activity across multiple websites. For more information, see Google's Privacy Policy and How Google uses cookies.
You can opt out of personalised advertising by visiting:
Note: opting out of personalised advertising does not mean you will see no ads โ it means ads will not be based on your browsing history.
6. How to control cookies
Using our consent banner
When you first visit Calculy.io, a cookie consent banner will appear. You can choose to accept all cookies, accept only essential cookies, or customise your preferences. You can change your preferences at any time by clicking "Cookie Settings" in the footer.
Through your browser
All modern browsers allow you to manage cookies through their settings. Here are links to instructions for common browsers:
Note: blocking essential cookies may affect the functionality of Calculy.io (e.g. your theme preference will not be remembered).
7. Do Not Track
Some browsers include a "Do Not Track" (DNT) feature. Calculy.io respects DNT signals for analytics tracking. However, Google AdSense cookies may not respond to DNT signals โ use the opt-out links above to control advertising cookies.
